Recipe Link: Spicy Chicken Potato Soup
This is a creamy chicken and potato soup, spiced up with Korean gochujang paste! Topped with all the loaded potato soup favorites - crispy bacon, cheddar cheese, and fresh green onion.
A hearty soup that’s perfect for a cozy winter evening. My husband joked that this is basically just all his favorite things in one bowl!
It is sort of the combination of my Spicy Chicken Noodle Soup and Loaded Potato Soup, and I think I already love it more than either of those. I hope you love it too!
With the start of December, we have another round of donations for the Caring Kitchens program! Through Caring Kitchens, some of the money generated by ads on our recipe pages is donated to fight hunger and food insecurity, so just by scrolling you’re supporting these impactful organizations.
In addition to the recurring monthly donation to No Kid Hungry, this month we are supporting YANA (You Are Not Alone), an organization supporting at-risk children in Malawi, Africa. YANA currently houses, feeds, and educates around 200 children who are orphaned, have special needs, are teen mothers, are escaping childhood marriages, or face other hardships.
This organization was founded by Tusaiwe Munkhondiya, a young Malawian woman who faced many of these challenges in her own childhood. You can read more about her incredible story here, but note that article is a few years old and does not cover the current work of YANA. If you’d like to see the current work of YANA including the children they support and the facility they are building, please check out their very active Instagram page here. If you’d like to make a direct donation, you can do so through PayPal or GoFundMe.
